A visual second brain that builds itself

Every note, sticky and page you write gets indexed on your device. Mena finds the threads between them and keeps a living map of your thinking — themes, clusters and concepts — with no tagging, no folders and no setup. You never build the graph; you just open it.

  • Themes gather works that keep circling the same subject, on their own
  • Clusters link loose ideas across different boards that you never connected by hand
  • Concepts collect every mention of the things your notes keep naming
  • Spaces group a project across board kinds without removing anything from anywhere else

On your device, not on a server

The semantic layer runs on Apple’s on-device contextual embedding model. Your notes are never uploaded, never sent to an API and never used to train anything. The model loads when an indexing pass runs and unloads the moment it is idle, and the whole thing is multilingual.

Related, with a reason

When Mena surfaces a related work it tells you why: same concept, similar ideas or directly connected. That makes the graph something you can reason about rather than a hairball of lines, and it is why Atlas works as a hand-arranged map of everything you keep.

Frequently asked questions

Does Mena upload my notes to build the knowledge graph?

No. Indexing and embedding happen entirely on your device using Apple’s contextual embedding model. There is no Mena account and no Mena server.

Do I have to tag my notes?

No. Themes, clusters and concepts are derived from what you wrote. Tagging and folders are optional conveniences, not a requirement for the graph to work.
